About Me

Hi! I'm currently working as an academic support staff member at the Polytechnic of State Finance with expertise in English language teaching, assessment development, psychometrics, and data analysis. My work has been focused on leveraging on integrating education, measurement, and technology to enhance learning experiences and advance the measurement of learners' abilities. My research areas include computer-based assessment, automating psychometric analysis, and developing psychometric tools using R programming. 

My educational background is quite diverse, covering computer science, tax administration, accounting, human resource management, and TESOL. This interdisciplinary foundation helps me connect concepts across technology, education, and finance. It also shapes how I approach problem-solving and innovation in educational settings.

Building on my journal article, "Unlocking Rasch Measurement: A Design Thinking Approach to Developing an Analysis Tool for Educational and Psychological Assessments" (in press), I am currently exploring the use of artificial intelligence, particularly large language models (LLMs), to enhance the feasibility of automated report generation. My goal is to deliver automated insights and enhance interpretability for non-expert users, which has a potential for making complex psychometric analysis more accessible and meaningful in educational settings.

I am also considering the potential of applying LLMs to develop an AI agent to recommend strategic actions for regional governments to optimize their revenue potential. This aligns with my vision of leveraging technology to address real-world challenges, especially in the public finance sector.

I am driven by a passion for continuous learning and innovation. To further explore the integration of education and technology, I am planning to pursue a PhD, where I can expand on my research and contribute to the advancement of this field.

Operational Manager, Services and Business Development Unit (2023-present)

• Managing and developing strategic partnerships and business services at the Polytechnic of State Finance. 

• Coordinating consultancy and study projects for international stakeholders (i.e., ADB, Timor-Leste, and Tanzania), regional governments and other ministries, to generate revenue for the Polytechnic of State Finance STAN as a Public Service Agency.  

• Leading initiatives to innovate educational services and expand institutional impact as the center of excellence for state finance.

• Playing a key role as a part of core team driving the revision of the regulation on academic research at the Financial Education and Training Agency.

Test Item Writer and Data Analyst (2016-2021)

• Designed and validated test items for English language assessments, ensuring alignment with assessment  objectives.   

• Collaborated with educational and psychometric experts to enhance test validity and reliability.   

• Streamlined and automated psychometric analysis and reporting to improve efficiency and accuracy in testing. 

• Initiated the transition from paper-based to a computer-based testing platform at the Financial Education and Training Agency.
